Shillim Resort, Maharashtra, India
Khanna Schultz developed the interior architecture for a 100-room spa resort on a remote site in India’s western ghats. The interiors are developed using an ecological sourcing philosophy, focusing on materials and techniques native to India. The interiors accent the strong architectural forms and varied roof lines of the buildings, and allow the guest to focus on the rich landscape of the valley. An atmosphere of calm will prevail in the resort, with simple forms and a harmonious selections of materials.
